MeMe from Catz

Decided to start as I mean to go on, courtesy of Catz

1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before? - Suffered from Depression and it turned out to be the best thing that happened to me when I came out of it a much better person.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? - I didn't make any and never do.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Two of my friends gave birth to beautiful little girls.

4. Did anyone close to you die? No

5. What countries did you visit? France for rugby and Holland for hen weekend in July.

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007? - Stability in my life, things where very topsy turvy in 2007.

7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? - 28th January was the start of downfall into depression, starting with a septic socket.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? - Landing a job I applied for totally off the cuff.

9. What was your biggest failure? - Losing the job I applied for off the cuff, that may turn into an achievement in 2008 though.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? - Depression, Polyp removed and Sinus clear out.

11. What was the best thing you bought? - Water filter because it has saved me from descaling both the kettle and the iron.

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration? - Evening getting the all clear.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed? - Mr T when we finished after a short lived passionate relationship.

14. Where did most of your money go? - If I knew the answer to this I would be loaded..lol...money and me don't mix well at all.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Not sure, I get excited about most things.

16. What song will always remind you of 2007? Build me up Buttercup, it became the rugby girls theme song.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? - Happier
b) thinner or fatter? - About the same
c) richer or poorer? Poorer

18. What do you wish you'd done more of? - Not spending what I haven't got

19. What do you wish you'd done less of? - One night stands and breaking hearts.

20. How did you spend Christmas? - With my Mum but only for a short time because of my stinking cold.

21. What was your favorite month of 2007? July, France was a fantastic weekend and then the hen weekend on the Ferries.

22. Did you fall in love in 2007? - Possibly yes or maybe it was just lust!

23. How many one-night stands? - Too many.

24. What was your favourite TV programme? - Greys Anatomy.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? - I don't do hate it's a waste of energy.

26. What was the best book you read? -Martina Cole - The Take

27. What was your greatest musical discovery? - My Ipod because it made me appreciate music all over again.

28. What did you want and get? - Mr Married.

29. What did you want and not get? - Mr Married to myself..

30. What was your favorite film of this year? I don't think I have been to pictures last year.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? - Went for a meal with friends, 41.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? - My Mum not having to go through pain for the last year with her Hip.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007? - I don't have a fashion concept I just wear what fits and what suits me.

34. What kept you sane? This is easy, some fantastic blogging friends, you all know who you are..

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? - Derek from Greys.

36. What political issue stirred you the most? - Anything that affects public services to the detriment off the staff and public.

37. Who did you miss? - Not having Widower in my life.

38. Who was the best new person you met? - Sugar Daddy, but not when he decided to snog my face off at midnight last night.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007. - Nothing is as bad as it seems and there is always someone worse of then you.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year. - It really couldn't be anything other than the title of this blog, because once you do there is no point to going on.
