Busy week!!
Firstly I must apologise to KT for not realising she had replaced her £2 quid flip flops....lol...sorry babe..
That out of the way well kind of she has just for a £150 quid phone bill today so is not a happy bunny, ironically texting the (not my boyfriend) oh well he might have to be now..
I have had a really busy week up to now but I am really enjoying new job, I do still have some staffing issues but they do appear to be sorting themselves out thankfully.
It is so good to not have someone on your back all the time asking what you are doing and just being left to get on with it, they are a real good crew basically and everyone I have asked assistance from has helped me willingly.
I have already got roped into an open day next weekend, trust me never could say no, so much for not working weekends anymore, but never mind it is only a one off.
I have another new staff member starting so she will be moulded into my ways from the start and hopefully there won't be any of the issues I have walked into with the existing staff.
I do need to have an early night tonight though, worked a lot of hours this week but even though it is only Thursday it is good to feel that I have achieved something, we are even on target this month for bookings and it's only half way through the month, much better than having someone breathing down my neck every day ranting and raving that we are miles off.
Going back to phones, I got my bill today too and I am not really a texter but the last month I have hammered it, on my price plan I currently have 100 free texts and usually this is sufficient but after getting £11 quid charge extra for texts I thought I better ring Vodafone and see if they could increase my texts.
It turned into nearly a half hour phone call which I ended up with another 150 texts for free, Vodafone passport for when I travel abroad, a new directory enquires, setting phone to ring back after voicemail, friends and family ooo and I think it may wash the pots if ask nicely.
What happened to the days when a phone was for phone calls? lol, I think I got a good deal but I am really not sure, he did keep mentioning the word free after every offer he made though, so we will see on the next bill.

Not boyfriend although he did offer to pay my fine and has bought me Gordon Ramsay's autobiography... However I am still out for revenge... Mate, I sent 1500 texts last month, I think its some kind of addiction... x
Nothing is ever free. They'll get it back somewhere else. Your mate kt seems to have a problem though! lol 1500?????!!!!!!!!!
When your contract ends with them, just phone up and threaten to leave...they'll probably double what you have already, bung in a new phone, and half the price!
I was with Vodafone on contract & they are very good, only competition I think is O2. I am now on pay as you go with them because after getting a few 'how much' phone bills & thinking "did I REALLY send that many txts?!?!" I find I do much better on pay as you go than contract, then again, maybe they swindled me! Lol
As for just having a phone as a phone, those days are gone, mine has a 200 song mp3 in it, couldnt beleive it when they showed me!
I use mine for music too.... No one ever texts me tho.... so I have 980 texts out of a thousand left if you want them this month.... and flip flops? whats that all about. I've seen blokes in them... I can't even stand up inthem, its unnatural to have things between yout toes!
I'm glad to hear that you are really enjoying your new job :-)
I hope you manage to catch up on some rest soon though!
Hugs,
Lins xx
KT - there is no wonder your always knackered, you can't possibly have time to sleep after sending all those texts...lol..xx
Vi and Laney - They have always been very good for me been with them for 17 years, bloody hell that's a long time, when phones where bricks...xx
GND - I am nervous of getting PAYG because knowing me just when I needed it I wouldn't have any credit.....lol..xx
TUPC - Flip flops, love em can't live without them, even have slippers which are toe posts...xx
Lins - I am doing ok I think....thanks for your concern though...xx
Busy old time for you, you can tell by the difference in the number of texts sent!
Phones. I said to my network I just want a phone that you can use as a phone and for texts and occasional E mails, they said Oh I'm sorry we don't do those anymore!!
Yeah texting is just wrong, but people just don't answer phones anymore... Or maybe thats just me... A physio friend of mine once told me that I had repetitive strain injury from the texts I send... Think he was onto something xx
Welcome Wilko - I do use my phone for so much more, it's an MP3 player too and I take a lot of pics...x
KT - was that texting he was talking about..xx
Judging by the lack of texts I receive from him maybe not or maybe that was his way of treating me for the injury.... Wishful thinking haha... Could you ever go without your phone for a week though? x
Sounds like you are settling into the new job perfectly… now why can’t I have a manager like you! Any job vacancies? lol
