Interview and event
Well on Monday I took an hour and a half out of my day which cost me £12 quid in wages to have what I thought was a really great interview for a job they sold to me big style, to then not hear a word from them whether I had got it or not.
I obviously haven't because I take it they only rang the person who did, but why didn't they tell me that instead of saying they would be ringing everyone the same day to tell them whether they were successful or not.
All it would have taken was a quick email thanking me for my time but on this occasion blah blah blah....
I have emailed the interviewee and asked for some feedback but not received that as yet either, she is a guest at the event tomorrow but I am hardly going to jump on her and ask her there.
Think my boss is pleasantly pleased though because it means he gets to keep me a bit longer and I am really enjoying getting my teeth into new projects.
I have my own project starting Monday next week which is testament to how highly he thinks of me.
I keep saying this, but things happen for a reason don't they??
Well hopefully we are already for the event tomorrow, we have had a final get together today and anything that is not sorted won't get sorted now...but it all seems to have fallen into place quite well fingers crossed.
Apart from our main keynote speaker pulling out last week, an MP who is needed on a more pressing engagement. We have managed to pull it all together pretty well.
So early night because I need to be there for setting up at 7am, I am really looking forward to it this is what I do and what I love doing, I will get such a buzz from organising everything and everybody tomorrow.
Wish me luck.....hopefully after tomorrow I can come out of lock down..xx

Good luck tomorrow.

Good luck!
It's damn rude, isn't it? We go to all that trouble for an interview...getting dressed up, getting there, sending off cv's and god knows what else, just to be ignored. It makes my blood boil.
Good luck for today!
Hope it all goes well.
Km xx
Oh I can't stand it when they do that! It's soo rude to keep someone in the dark like that!
I'm wishing you luck! :-) xx
Oh good luck for the event, hope you get some feedback from the interview too! BG x x
Reen - Thanks..xx
Miss & VBF - It's crap and the policy is to ring everyone once it's been offered because people talk to each other..xx
